Over $1200 for Children’s Wish

The 2009 Originals Christmas Craft Sale helped make children’s wishes come true by raising $1254.00 for the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Wish Stars where sold by our exhibitors in exchange for donations and volunteers manned a gift wrapping service to raise additional funds. Thank you to the media who attended the kick off opening day and who contributed their Celebrity Stars to our Wish Wall. Special thanks to all of our exhibitors who participated in promoting the Wish Stars and to everyone who added a star to our wall.

We send out a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to our fundraising efforts. Thank you to all of our patrons who attended the show opening night, donating gate revenue and purchasing works from our silent auction. Thank you to all of our artisans who generously donated their works to the silent auction. A very special thank you to Tracy Lynn Chisholm, the artist who created and donated “The Now Maker”, a fabulous 3’ x 4’ oil on wood panel that was auctioned and to Christiaan Barbeau, owner of Christiaan’s Painting for making the successful bid. Mr. Barbeau added to his generous $1,000 bid by donating the painting back to Ronald McDonald House so that all of the families there may enjoy this bright inspirational work of art.
